Description:
1950's Bovet Mono-Rattrapante Steel Gilt Chronograph Tropical 38mm Vintage Valjoux 84 Wristwatch. This is certainly one of the more interesting Bovet chronographs that we've come across. Steel case and bezel are in excellent condition. Some light wear is present. Stampings on case and caseback are prominent. The original Bovet gilt sector dial has an out of this world appearance with its tropical brown glow and contrasting black accents. Possible that radium was an early re-lume. Matching radium patina on hands and dial. Valjoux 84 movement is running and has been serviced.
